Thanks so much for sharing! You look amazing :) I had a similar problem, put on 4 lbs but felt happier in my body - shows the scales can lie!

Your post came at a great time.

I weigh myself every two weeks (occasionally more) and yesterday was the day. The number on the scale sucked, I text a friend and told her how much the scale can piss me off (we have both been battling with the scale for a couple of months). Then I thought about it and I am in the best shape of my life and my clothes all still fits....I need to stop worrying about the scale, but it is tough to get out of the mindset. I'm not where I want to be, but I shouldn't worry about 5 pounds.

The scale has been real depressing for me. I went on a crazy plan that was to help me lose 80 pounds in 8 weeks - i did it for a week and lost 8 pounds (1500 calories burn off 500 a day) I dropped 8 pounds in one week I was so happy, THEN I WENT TO THE DOCTOR! She told me to stop the crazy plan and do the following:

Eat 1800 calories a day, exercise 45-1hr a day and no eating for 9:00. I've gained 3.4 pounds in a week and Im so frustrated.

Please Help! It makes me want to go back on the crazy diet, how long will it take for my body to adjust to 800 more calories and begin losing weight again?

Careful. Lifting will make you bulky.

No, lifting cannot make women bulky unless they use steroids. Women cannot naturally make enough testosterone to create bulky muscles. Even female Olympic weightlifters are not bulky. Go to youtube and search "womens olympic weightlifting" to see what anyone would consider heavy weightlifting women look like. Not bulky at all.
