I only drink water, except once a week I'll have a different drink like juice, but I the problem is I never seem to get 8 cups in a day, maybe 3-5 and sometimes I'll get 8 or above, any tips on how to drink 8 cups a day? Thanks ^-^!

Yeah, buy a 32 oz drink holder and drink 2 of them.

It depends on your lifestyle. At my last job I sat in front of a computer all day (bleh) so I used to take 2 20 oz bottles to work with me and drink them before lunch, sipping all day. I would refill them at lunch, and drink that after lunch. 80 oz, just at work. Then again people teased me all the time and never seemed to think "Aw, you brought one for me too!" was an old joke.0

Drink one cup an hour for 8 hours.
Or half a cup an hour, for 16 hours!
Or 8 cups in one hour!
Or 2 cups an hour for 4 hours!0 -
I drink flavoured green tea. I get my green tea as per doctor's orders and I up my fluid intake. Maybe trying fruit infusion as well might help you up the quantify of water.0

Thank you everyone, and I mean, when I'm at my computer I'm not really thirsty, or don't realize I am, so I never get up and go get water, and at the end of the day I'm like, Woops! I only drink a lot of water when I exercise, but other times I just forget. I guess I'll carry around a water bottle :].0

Good luck! You might be surprised how much you drink when you just keep it right there in front of you.0 -
My only tip to add would be to use a clear container. That way when it's on your desk you can always SEE the water and that will remind you to drink it. Sounds silly but it worked for me.0

Set a reminder on your phone/computer every hour. Every time it goes off chugg a glass of water0

thats what i do0 -
Just tie it to other things you do. For example, I have a rule of drinking 1 pint before each meal and have no trouble getting in my 8 cups per day when I remember.0
-
Drink one cup upon rising; one cup with each meal; one cup before bed; and the other 3 cups fit in between.
Also always keep a container filled with water with you.0 -

This is what I do. I actually aim for 3 of them a day, but as long as I get two down, I'm happy. I would suggest buying an insulated one that will keep your water at whatever temperature you prefer. I like mine so cold it actually hurts my teeth a little. Sadistic, I know, but it's me!0 -
Never knew drinking water could be a problem.
But I suggest spreading out the intake if its easier. Like someone said, 8 cups in 8 hours. That's 8 ounces every hour and 8 ounces really is only like 2-3 big gulps.
Or if you have free bottle water, drink 4 of them. Don't be intimidated. If it helps, try eating popcorn or some salted peanuts or almonds which would drive you to be more thirsty from the sodium. Works for me though I generally drink about a gallon a day so I'm used to it.0 -
I really struggled with water intake until I got a 32 oz cup with a STRAW. The straw is key. You'd be surprised at how much more water you drink when it's through a straw. At work, I can easily get one full glass down by lunch & another by the end of the day, plus another one before bed time.0

I carry a 2 litre bottle around with me all day and sip it all day long. I find it easy when I'm just sitting at a computer or walking around a classroom. On hot summer days I try to finish one before lunch and another after..0

because I love her I'm going to tell you about Big Bertha. See Big Bertha is a cup I found at Circle K or maybe it was 7-ll....anyways, Bertha holds 100 ounces. I fill her every morning and continue my intimate relationship with Bertha until I suck her dry.0
