Hi All

I am a tad confused as each day it says...in 5 weeks you will weigh...xxx pounds. The thing that is baffling me is that some days it will say one thing, and if I eat the same calories the following day it says I will be 5lbs heaver than the previous day in 5 weeks. Can anyone explain why this is?

Thanks

The best time to weight yourself is at the end of the week (sunday morning) after you went to the loo and before you eat anything.

Weighting yourself everyday is really not accurate and is quite depressing watching it go up and down.

She's not talking about weighing herself, she is talking about the thing where at the end of the day you click on it and it says "if every day was like today, you would weigh xxx in 5 weeks."

I think there is a glitch in it, one of my friends has noticed the same thing. It's just to give you an idea of what your weight loss would be if you had every day like today. Not good if you've gone over on your calories! But if you are at or under goal and it's telling you you would weigh five pounds more, then something is wrong. You can report it, don't know if it will do much good.

I weight myself about 3 times a day. Gives me a good idea on how my body fluctuates to the food I eat.

It's saying that if you did everything exactly the same as today for 5 weeks straight, that is an estimate of what you will weigh.

Funny, I noticed the same thing happen to me on Sunday. I ate roughly the same on monday and it gave me a smaller weight. The only thing I can think of is I didn't exercise on Sun but I did mon...and on monday it gave me the lower weight. That could be it maybe :)

Might it be using the break down of what you have eaten?

If one day you eat 2500cals of cake I would guess that it would estimate a weight in 5 weeks different to if you eat 2500cals of wholes grains?

If your breakdowns of proteins, carbs, fats etc. etc. are exactly the same every day and it's still showing a different "predicted" weight I would then assume its a glitch. You could very easily try this actually by just copying everything you eat from the previous day and see what numbers it gives you.
