i want to start eating salads everyday for lunch. what are your favorite topping combinations?

    Lettuce, cucumber, feta, and sunflower seeds with a low cal dressing. Maybe some beans or tomatoes to mix things up.

    I add craisins, feta and chopped walnuts...just two tbsp. I make my own salad dressing, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tsp of sugar and salt & pepper. You don't need much. I take salad 4 days out of 5 for my lunch.:smile:

    Bell pepper, tuna, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, cheese, onions, ... .
    Don't forget about fruits. :) Strawberries for example can taste GREAT in salads if combined right.

    I also like to add spring onion to this mix, and if I feel like dressing it up just salt, vinegar, drizzle of olive oil.

    You also can't beat a tomato avocado mix!

    kidney beans, corn, peas, strawberries, blueberries, butternut squash, nuts, seeds, crab, shrimp, chicken, mango, pineapple, couscous, quinoa, apples, pears.......whatever vegetable, fruit, protein you like

    1 cup cup of spinach
    1/8 cup of chopped walnuts
    1/8 cup of dried cranberries
    1/8 cup of feta
    1 small chopped fuji apple

    mix it up = YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!

    hi!
    i do lots of differ salads!!
    i make chicken salads:
    fajita seasonings, cut small and cooked with onions and bell peppers. no cheese on a pile of lettuce or spinach or both with hot sauce and maybe salsa
    grilled with herbs and tomatoes, dressing
    chicken and brown rice on lettuce with onions, peppers n tomatoes
    oven baked with water, smart balance and hot sauce on a salad, super yummy!!
    i make almost any meal into a salad, skip the starch and put the meat on lettuce!
    i make more but my mind is not thinking fast enough lol

    Spinach, cucumber, feta, chickpeas, flax seed, hard boiled egg white, balsamic. mmm.... I have eaten one of these every day for 2 weeks and I'm still not tired of them!

    This will be helpful. I usually just put aminos on spring mix.
