I've using my recumbant bike alot lately, monday I did 24K and yesterday I did 11K but then my right knee started to hurt. Does this happen to anyone else? I don't want to stop biking it's my favorite way to burn lots of calories.

If your knee is hurting, you may want to give it a rest. You don't want to injure yourself further and not be able to ride your bike at all.0

Definitely rest it for a while. Where does it hurt? Front and back knee pain can be a simple things like seat height. Outside knee pain could be a tight IT band (need to massage that with a foam roller).0

The pain is in the whole knee cap. I tried icing it but it didn't do much.0

I may also try compression. An ace bandage or a knee brace my help. Also try to elevate it if you can. Hopefully it's just a muscle being sore. If it hurts for longer than a few days or gets to the point where you can't put pressure on it or if it starts to swell, I would go to a doctor.0
