    I have McDonalds too! At the top of my screen right now! and down the side is Red Robin, Arby's and Panera Bread coupons.

    Mine is for Opurity vitamins, and I've never even heard of them or searched for vitamins online. It just now changed to Vera Wang engagement rings, and I haven't searched for anything like that, either. Some of the ads may reflect search histories, but most of mine are just random.

    Like others have said, your ads reflect what you have been doing online. The world has moved on to individualized marketing.

    So it's not about MFP, it's about you.

    My ads are for AARP health insurance and 5 veggies that kill stomach fat. Ha!

    You might have engagement ring ads if you recently changed your relationship status on facebook.. like if you now have a partner, but didn't before.. the ads are made to push you in the direction they think you are going.

    So I paid attention to this over the last 2 years. When I was engaged in facebook, all I got was wedding ads. Now that I'm married, all I get are baby ads.. child care.. etc.. or things related to my search.. t he ones I see now are Best Yoga in New York and Brooks Brothers (a few weeks ago, I was looking for permanent press shirts for my hubby online).
