Has anyone ever been dumped for:
1. Being too overweight?
2. Losing too much weight?

I ask this because I was talking to this person last summer; they seemed really interested but I wanted to focus on school. I never use facebook and I saw them for the first time since last summer in a supermarket yesterday. They were shocked to see that I have lost a lot of weight (a bit disappointed I think) and kind of just brushed/hurried me off. I've been thinking about it and I kind of feel like crap.0

What makes you think they were disappointed in the weight loss?0

They kept asking me how much weight did I lose during the conversation and then just left.0 -
No I have never been dumped for gaining weight, b/f liked it when I gained the extra 10-15lbs I did living in England.
But my b/f would for sure dump me if I became a toothpick sickly skinny.0 -
I've never been dumped
I do all the...errr...dumping0 -

Just left? Like walked away without notice?
I want to try that some time.0 -

I had a boyfriend once who refused to introduce me to his friends until I lost weight, so I dumped him. Does that count?0

People cannot help what they are attracted to. People get so upset but you cannot force an attraction. Sometimes that means someone doesn't like overweight people and sometimes that means someone only likes overweight people. It is what is is.
If you're feeling like crap because of whether or not someone is attracted to you, that is in an internal issue.
Also, how do you know that person isn't already in a relationship now? Or that they didn't want to wait for you? There are any number of reasons that someone who was previously interested but whom you put on hold, would no longer be interested in you.0 -

Or, he was caught off guard by his new-found attraction for you... or for fruity pebbles or whatever shiny thing distracted him.0 -

wow this....
Everyone has different definitions of what they find attractive. Sorry to say but how you look to a person factors into how much that person is attracted to you between 1-100% and it normally tends to be on the the higher end
It would be nice if everyone liked people for who they were as a person. But thats fantasy not reality. And with that being said theres always people who like people on the opposite end of the spectrum than you would expect0 -
