Do you use it in place of olive oil? I have never used it to cook but read so much about it.0 -
I love trader joes, their California protein sprouted bread is fantastic, the horseradish hummus rocks !! The frozen garlic naan is the best ever , basically everything rocks : )0

I don't buy much from trader joes. Whole foods is actually closer than TJ's.
I absolutely LOVE their pizza dough! I've tried the herb one and I want to try the others. I also enjoy the hummus there! Carrots and cheese taste like any at other stores0 -
Kimchi rice
Venetian Moon pinot grigio (my new favorite table wine)
Hearty vegetable broth (I swear, everything I use this in tastes better. I poached some salmon in it last night -- so good)
Garlic -- for some reason, their garlic seems fresher than what I can find elsewhere
Mirepoix -- when I'm feeling lazy0 -

I think it was roughly $7 in Indiana? I just got some on Sunday. Definitely cheaper there! I don't get to TJ's often, but I bought that and the almond butter while I was there! Almond butter is cheaper, too - especially for the no sugar added kind.
I use the coconut oil to cook (usually my eggs...mmm) and as a moisturizier and hair conditioner (I just leave it in). Same stuff, but I have a separate container in the bathroom, lol.
Edit: I also found the coconut oil was good to remove wax from your hair, lol. oops0 -

sometimes I use it in place of olive oil, but I find that it has a slight coconut taste, so the food either needs to complement or overpower the flavor or its a little odd.0 -
I love just about everything, but current favorites:
- Reduced Guilt Spinach & Ricotta Stuffed Shells (frozen)
- Naan
- Palak Paneer (frozen)
- Dark chocolate, almond, and cashew trek mix
- sweet and spicy mustard
- Macaroni and cheese (frozen and the full-guilt kind -- so terrible for you, but so delicious)0 -

One problem, their cheese selection is too good.

I am obsessed with Trader Joe's! Some of my faves are:
Bean and Cheese Burritos (frozen), 260 calories each
Broccoli and Cheese Quiche (frozen), 460 calories each
Soyaki Sauce (teriyaki/soy) (bottle) - great for chicken, 70 cals per serving
Rosemary Chicken Breast (fresh/prepackaged), 160 or so per serving
Chips and Salsa (any kind)
Great Meats and Fresh Fruits and Veggies0 -
Any of the salsas. When I'm craving it, I seriously just grab the jar and a spoon. It's amazing.0
