Hi,
You can buy a "cup" in the UK in any baking shop.
It's also a measure on a lot of jugs,it might be worth buying one as a lot of the recipes on here use cups as a measure.
If you don't have access to a baking shop check Amazon UK0 -

bumping for the recipe! Google has all kinds of conversion calculators for you to check out too!0
-
If only we had some sort of database that allowed you to search for information on the internet!0

All you have to do is type in your web browser: what is one cup in grams or whatever... I do this all of the time it is not big deal.0

I'd use any 250 ml cup. 1 US cup equals 237 ml,so it's pretty close.0

I tried googling the conversion myself but I got so many different results I didn't know which was closest. Think I'll try the recipe using the conversion posted by NIkhan.

^^ very true, I have looked and found that they come out so varied because the american ounce is different to the english ounce and because I think some are just plain made up.0 -
bump for later0

Hi, I got baking cups out of Asda for less than £2 - i use these when making American recipes, as it is must easier than weighing everything out.
I think Tesoc do them as well0 -

I have no life so I did this, they should be pretty accurate - also a teaspoon and tablespoon are pretty generic so I wouldn't worry about converting them to grams or ml as it's just a pain and a bit silly lol
227g - Honey
39g - Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
65g - Whole Wheat Flour
1g - Baking Powder
1g - Baking Soda
Pinch of Salt
120ml - Unsweetened, natural applesauce
43g - Olive Oil
1 Large Egg
3.5ml - Pure Vanilla Extract0 -
Here's a link to the recipe with ingredients and nutritional info too - these look good, may have to try them myself.
