My friend and I both attend the same water aerobic class. When we log our exercise it shows she burnt 290 and I burnt 419.
There is a large weight difference between us. Is that why?

The heavier somebody is, the more calories they will burn off, hence why, as people lose weight, they use up less calories and as a result, weight loss slows down. (Well it is one of the reasons why weight loss slows down anyway).0
