Sore little toes?

My little toes on both feet get INSANELY sore when I walk for long distances, or if I'm even on the elliptical for 30 mins. I end up getting blisters on them after most walks. I've tried a few different pairs of shoes, and sizes all with the same out come.
I'm thinking my little toes are just curved funny, the part of the toe where the joint is sorta sticks up..
Any ideas for how to help? Double socks does nothing.

Do they actually poke out? If wide shoes aren't working for you, it could be that you do like me and walk with more pressure on the outsides of your feet. Do you notice the outside edges of of your shoes wear faster than the inside? If all else fails, and you can swing it, talk to a podiatrist. See if he can find the issue and give you ideas on how to correct it. I hope it gets better for you!0
