My singing voice? I'm considering taking a risk and going to an open call audition this summer because I love to sing.
So if you wouldnt mind taking a second and listening, any and all feedback would be much appreciated :)

the sound quality of the video isn't great so it was hard to judge. Your voice isn't bad. You just need to own it. You sound like a 10 year old. If you just sing more using your diaphragm then your voice will sound fuller and more mature!! It sound somewhat nasally. Just work on opening up your mouth more and rounding your vowels. ....other than that, it was cute...

Not the right song for you, not without more practice anyway. Try singing from your chest more. You seem to force the higher notes and long ones from your throat and nasal passaages. That being said, it does seem like you have a nice voice! I'd try something a little less high...try Payphone by Maroon 5. It has the high notes (on payphone, times gone, etc.) but overall I think it would fit your voice a bit better. You should find a song that fits your voice, not try to fit your voice to a song :) Hope you don't mind a bit of honesty!

The key is too high, you're too nasal and too throaty. You need lessons to show you how to sing from your diaphragm and practice controlling your breath so the sound is powerful and controlled, if you continue to sing the way you are you will hurt yourself. Practice, practice, practice.

I agree with this ^ also with the advice to sing more from your diaphragm. The raw material is there, but you would benefit from some training :). Your voice right now is pretty, but very in your head, which leaves you sounding nasaly. You have some solid natural power and tone though. Keep at it!

I think that the general comments above are probably about right - I am not a great singer so cannot comment on the techniques involved. What I can say is that you sound like ou are just singing the words, there is no passion, no feeling and no expression. Even with poor sound quality, or a poor singer, the emotion of a song can carry through, lifting even a poor performance. Pick a song that you are passionate about and learn the words before making another video. I am sure it will come across much better.

It wont open for me, shame because I'd like to listen. I have been singing for 28 years and used to front a jazz orchestra in England. What style do you sing?

It's opening for me, still not opening for you? I like to sing deep, emotional, beautiful songs mostly.
