My activity level - Lightly or Moderately active?

Hi everyone, this is my first post! :)

I am just trying to figure out my TDEE (I've been lurking for a while and would like to try the TDEE-% method)... but I am a bit unsure about the activity level I should pick!

I work out 5-6 times a week for 30-45 minutes each time (stationary bike, moderate-vigorous pace, sometimes I also add bodyweight exercises like squats, planks etc), the rest of the time I am quite sedentary (desk job/study) except some housework, cleaning, some walks even... should I consider myself lightly or moderately active? What do you think?

Thanks for your input ;)

  • i think moderate to be honest.
  • Thank you so much for your input emmy! I was thinking that too, because I've read on here that moderately active is generally defined as "3-5 hours exercise per week" (right?) which is how much I'm actually doing... I was just unsure because the rest of the time I'm not really very active. Any other thoughts? :)
