I have always worn size 16/18, since losing a stone and exercising more i took some measurements to see what clothes size i would be....my hips and bust point towards 12, but waist is still 18? Can that be right? I have looked at two size guides....oh and uk sizes :-)
Thanks from a confused size 16 wearer....still havent the guts to buy any other size!

Every shop has different sizes in the UK a 14 in one is a 16 or a 12 in another. Also the size of the same item if its made on different days in the factory can be different.
Don't worry about numbers and wear what looks good on you!0 -
Thanks both. Yep I know I should just go and buy clothes...I hate shopping as it is and I still cant get my head around wearing a smaller size. I did try on a size 14 wedding dress yesterday and that was a such an emotional dread to just do it!...it was curiosity really as I want to buy my wedding dress online and they all say to measure first....hence the dreaded tape measure!0
