Good News about Almonds!

Read this in this month's Muscle and Fitness for her:

A recent study published in the American Journal of clinical Nutrition reports that almonds have approximatly 20% fewer calories than origionally new studys show that 23 almonds actually have around 129 calories versus the 160 that is currently on the package!


makes me happy if its only 30 calories i love almonds :)

    Om Nom Nom. Now I don't feel bad about going over them when my handful is more like 25-30 almonds!

    Evidently there have been advances in the way calories are measured across the board, not just for almonds. I expect that there will be a lot of changes to calorie counts and food labels in the near future.

    1/2 cup cottage cheese, 2tbs each chopped almonds, apricots, and prunes on top. Deeeeeelishus!
