No - never beat yourself up! Relax! If you feel like you overate just do some extra exercise to balance it out and forget it.
Everyone is entitled to a treat, don't worry about it.0 -
You're going to gain weight because your body is trying to hold on to everything you're giving it right now. Then it'll settle down and you'll start losing again if you stick with it and eat at a healthy and sensible calorie deficit.
Stay the course, and stay consistent. Be patient with yourself and with your body. It's what you do over the long term that matters, and if you make healthy, sensible choices, your body will respond in time.
You're already doing awesome by giving your body the calories it actually needs and by stopping the sillness of subsisting at 1000 calories a day. That's the first step, so good on you! Lose your fear of eating and of calories, and just choose healthy foods!
You should find an online calculator to figure out your TDEE (generally speaking) and get a range of calories that is healthy for you, then aim for eating within that range, get your butt moving regularly, make sure you stay hydrated, make healthier eating choices, and in a couple years you'll be a totally different person.

You're actually at a healthy weight right now, with a BMI of 23.8. Starvation diets can reduce lean body mass, thus promoting fat gain. I think what you're doing now is good with a healthy amount of calories and nutrition combined with exercise.
If you happen to indulge once in a while, it's not worth worrying about, as long as you get back on track afterwards.0 -
According to everything i've ever read, 1,000 calories per day is not enough and your body would be missing out on essential nutrition. Although i don't claim to be an expert.
I think it would be sensible to do a little research on your own, perhaps discuss with a doctor, and get your calories to the right level for you, with a reasonable daily deficit to manage your weight loss at a sensible rate. I think starving yourself then binging is probably not the healthiest combination, neither for your body nor your mind.
But in any case, beating yourself up will never result in anything good. Focusing on establishing sensible goals and a reasonable path to achieve them, that's the only way to get fit and healthy and stay that way.0 -
Starvation mode *yawn
Eat the sweets, enjoy the pizza and maybe has some wine. You're allowed to enjoy certain foods0 -
If you beat yourself up, just don't leave bruises......
Okay, kidding aside, everyone has an off day. You're used to eating little to nothing, then binging. You need to slowly break yourself of that habit.0
