Les Mills Classes

Does anyone have the calories burned for all the Les Mills classes so they can be entered and not just have to choose a generic aerobics high intensity?

I'd love to know the answer to this too! I usually enter body pump as circuit training and body combat as boxing/kickboxing.

There won't be a standard list of calories burned - it'll depend on things like your weight, how much effort you've put in, the weights you lift in Pump etc.

For me (5 foot 2, 137 pounds, lifting more than the min) I burn roughly:

    200-300 per hour in Balance
    300-450 per hour in Pump
    400-500 in Combat.
  • This is so dependent on the individual in terms of one's weight and heart rate (effort) during the class. For example, Les Mills says the average calories burned in a Body Combat class are 737. If someone is not average, they can burn 100s less or more.

If you really want to know, invest in a basic heart rate monitor.

    To answer your question:
    Body Combat 737
    Body Attack 735
    Body Step 620
    Body Vive 550
    RPM 675
    Body Jam 530
    Body Pump N/A
    CXWorks 230

Thanks, I agree it's an individual thing based on exertion, size, fitness, etc, but so are all the others listed on the exercise tracker. This at least gives a guide. Any chance you could user submit those on the exercise tracker?

Nevermind, I've added them for everyone already. I also heard there's 2 new Les Mills classes coming out soon, I think one is more like Zumba and the other more like Pilates, neither one for most men but the women should love them.

Update...use the "corrected" ones. I found the updated averages which also included Pump and Flow, and added the standard class length these are based on. Hope this helps everyone as much as it helps me! Good luck and don't give up on your goal!!

According to my fitbit I get about 250 per pump class, and 350-400 for combat.
  • Im 45.female and weigh 83kg. According to my HRM I get about 520kcal burned for les mills combat, 550 for RPM and 380 for pump. Ive never lasted a complete body attack class so I suspect I would burn more there if I could go the distance
