Calories burned at new job?

I'm a very sedentary person, and today I was just hired at an ice cream shop for the summer. Being that the shop is located at the beach, and I'll be working during the summer, it's safe to assume we will get very busy. I have to move back and forth between counters, making milkshakes, scooping, changing things out, cleaning counters, etc. My shifts will be about 6 hours each, and since I'm not used to standing and moving back and forth for 6 hours, I was wondering if I would be burning extra calories, and if it would make me lightly active as opposed to sedentary. I know you're not supposed to count your jobs as burning calories, but I'm curious because I'm not used to this, and I'll only be working there 3, maybe 4 times a week. Any thoughts?

I would wear a pedometer or fit bit or nike fuel band and count your steps that way. I actaually leave my lifestyle set to sedentary and capture all my activity this very way.

I would start with lightly active. That's what I did when I first started on here. I was still losing above the 0.5 pounds target, so I then increased to active. I work in a factory on my feet, but we also lift heavy at times.
