Is your arms supposed to ache during mountain climbers?

I started a new plan the one my PT set. Mountain climbers were on it they were fine when I did the mountain climbers that day.
Then today I did them but I found the mountain climbers hard and my arms were hurting so much it was hard to hold myself, i ended up giving in during the last set and not finishing it.

Would it be that my form was wrong? or isit normal for my arms to have been aching that all I need to do is push through them?

Been there!! My arms would hurt so much more than my abs and legs would. I was out of form, but also if you don't have much arm strength your going to feel it in your arms. Make sure when you do them that you are lining your hands up shoulder width apart directly under your shoulders so your body is in alignment! :)

    Yes.
Hey, it could always be worse. I can't even do them ... it feels like my collarbones are shifting around or something. Really uncomfortable and sounds creepy. I hate mountain climbers anyways. :grumble:

    How are you breathing?
When I do mountain climbers / push ups / planks I find my arms get really tired if I'm not breathing correctly (sometimes I hold it when you should breathe with each rep).

Depends on how conditioned your arms are. If they're not that conditioned, it's gonna hurt.
