Has anyone ever tried the Aloe Vera colon cleanse?

If yes, let me know how it works and whether it's worth it :)

Colon cleanses = colonoscopy prep. If you want it clean as a whistle, schedule one and have it checked by a doc while you're at it. Otherwise, the colon "cleanses" itself with a healthy diet and regular bowel movements.

D: I used to put that on my sunburns growing up and It smells awful.. I couldn't imagine eating that.. I really hope there is a different form of it that I don't know about because other wise that's kind of disgusting.

I will say, while cleanses only do a temporary benefit unless you adjust your diet to include plenty of soluble fiber and minimal refined carbs and sugar. They can be beneficial. Our bodies are created to operate perfectly, but as we have not treated our bodies very well with all the garbage (even some "healthy" garbage mind you) it would really do good to clean it all out. If you think that all waste is expelled when you go to the potty you are wrong. Why do you think you get a colon cleanse when you go for the lower endoscopy? To get all the impacted poopy out folks. I do tire of the sanctimony and eye rolling about this stuff. I don't think some of these cleanses are always a good idea because of the wacky things they require. Some people suffer side effects from these kinds of things. But if a colon cleanse is executed properly and with good sense, and a good diet is taken as a lifestyle change, the cleanse should not be a problem.
