Pure Cardio - Insanity

Since I started running and doing insanity I am only doing insanity 3 days a week. I always do Pure Cardio. I dont think I'm ready for month 2, I tried it and I just cant get the form correct yet, so I do pure cardio 3/4 days a week. I like Pure Cardio better than the other month 1 DVDs, maybe because I only have to do each exercise 1 time (other than the warm up). Which one of the month 1 DVDs do you think you are getting the best workout from?

Cardio Power and Resistance or Plyometrics, I hated Pure Cardio! They all burned around the same amount of calories though so it was purely down to the type of exercise that made me enjoy it more or less. I mover up to level 2 last night and am really enjoying it but am glad I took 2 weeks as recovery weeks (for various reasons) not just one as I feel the recovery workout helped me gain enough strength in my shoulders to allow me to cope with month 2.

They are all great workouts and have similarities but I think Plyo and Power & Res use strength a little more with all the pushups and power moves. If you are doing it 3x a week why don't you try doing each of those 3 workouts once a week for variety and added strength moves?

Pure Cardio is definitely my favorite for the same reason! Only have to do the exercises once and there are fewer "on the floor" workouts which I like.
But if you like doing that, might I recommend Insanity: Fast and Furious just to add a little variety with the same basic type of workout. It's kind of like Pure Cardio but with a different set of workouts. (Shorter too!)
I'm only just starting Week 3 of Insanity right now though so I am by no means an expert! Good luck!

It's been a while since I did my round of Insanity, but I remember enjoying Pure Cardio quite a bit. I didn't like the Abs portion afterwards, but then again, I've always hated ab exercises.

And month 2 was definitely Cray!
