How many cals in chicken chili?

My husband made chicken chili and I do not know how many calories are in a cup. I was hoping someone could give me an estimate. It has 2 1/2 chicken breasts, a big can of diced tomatoes, 2 cans of chili beans, and corn. No added salt or anything. I do not have any cans laying around to figure it out. Just an estimate will do fine:) It made a crockpot full of chili. I figure it can't be too much. Is 250 a reasonable amount to record? Thanks!

You can use the recipe maker under the food section for it to tell you. Just enter the ingredients that you listed and it should work ;)

If you have to 'guess' than 250 is probably good for 1 cup. Next time you should use the recipe maker in here though so you can get numbers. It will be high in sodium even though he did not add salt due to the canned beans being high in sodium.

Thanks, I tried that recipe calculator and it gave me 1481 for the whole crockpot. I divided it by 6 to be safe and it gave me 246 per serving. I can't see how it could be too far off from that. I never knew that tool was there, it's pretty great! Thanks, I learned something today :)

Click on the food tab, then click on Recipe tab...enter your ingredients, number of servings, and you're good to go! It will save in your recipe box. Also, you can choose to add it to the MFP database, but I wouldn't do it...
