Sports bra help

For the larger busted woman what sports bra works best? I got a dance skin that I'm not happy with at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm D size and sick of the pain especially when I jump! Tell me what to do please!

I love my lululemon bra. I think it's the tata tamer. lol. I'm a c-d depending on the brand. I swear they keep messing around with sizes in all clothes just to mess with your mind. Anyway, mine are heavy/dense and I run in this bra with very little movement.0

i have the tata tamer as well and i love it.. super supportive but i think it only goes up to a 38D
the shock absorber is excellent. it doesnt look like it would do much ( the cups are soft and unlined) so i was hesitant to buy it at first but its sooo good! it was about 55$ and worth every penny. its more comfortable than the tata tamer i find but not nearly as cute ahaha0 -
Check Title Nine Sports www.titlenine.com. They have a wide variety with descriptions of them all. Sometimes they mention the brand, but unfortunately most of the time they don't. You'll find them much more reasonably priced somewhere else, but it is a good place to start to view a bunch at once.. My favorite is made by Moving Comfort.0

Its amazing! I needed a good strong sports bra because I was running and nursing! I was a 42F at the time!
I love my Enell! Sort of pricey, I think I paid 64 bucks .. but I was wearing 2 Target bras at once which totaled 60 bucks anyway!0 -
Hi, 36D here. I highly recommend checking out the bras at Title Nine (www.titlenine.com). Not only do they sell bras using regular bra sizes, each bra also has a barbell rating. I typically get the 4-barbell bras (my workouts seem to involve a lot of running and jumping) --- my favorites are the 3-Reasons Bra and the 7 Wonders Bra. They're worth every penny!0

I say...anything that has a wide elastic band and that is long...longer than most. I just got one from Hanes that has a zipper up the front and those suckers don't go anywhere! I do a LOT of horseback riding and I need full support. You can go to some horse websites and get some riding bras...they are meant for high impact and they are expensive but last a LONG time!0

Mine is by Panache (Idk if they're in the US?), they specialise in larger cup sizes so the band is nice and wide at the back and the straps are comfy. I wear a 32G and it holds them in place really well even when I'm doing jumping jacks and running etc0

I really like the Under Armour one that comes in Cup and Band sizes. If I am doing something really high impact I usually "double bag" them with just a pullover sports bra underneath.0

Really? I wanted to love my Panache but always end up going back to my Champion PowerBack whenever I'm doing something high impact. I'm 32DD. The Champion PowerBack works great, it's just a pain pulling on/off over your head. I also feel like the straps come in too close on my shoulders. The Panache is easier to wear, and more comfy, but just doesn't hold 'em in place the same. I'm still searching for that perfect bra!0 -
Thank you everyone! I do appreciate the advice. I'm in a rural area, but might take the drive to a near by city to look. I wrote those names brands down. I don't want to spend lots of money on one bra, but it's better than hurting & cheaper than a chiropractor.0

UGH... Downward dog, ya... Can't breath really need support or pass out from lack of oxygen? Lol0 -

That's why plus size stores are good for finding bras for bustier women. Mine has underwire and clasps in the back. I know there's even a specialty store a few miles from me (I live in a big city) that specializes in large bras.I bought one at Lane Bryant. I'm a 38DDD. I am regularly a 40DDD and I wear 40DD Glamorize No-Bounce Camisole Bra. Just bought one from Amazon for $20-25.
Everything stays where it is supposed to stay and no wire to boot. Wires are part of the rest of my day but when I am working out and contorting my body, I dont want a wire. The camisole mesh material over the cleavage is great as even my cleavage stays put and covered while doing burpees, mountain climbers and the like.
I giggle at the shelf style sports bras as there is no way my breats will fit and/or stay when working out. But I suffered through for years by doubling up. Since buying these, I have had no issues and its comfy to boot.0 -
I bought a 'Moving Comfort' sports bra at a runner's shop...I am very happy with it....my boot camp trainer mentioned his ex girlfriend being a DD cup and having problems with jumping and running so she doubled bra'd herself...lol...His words were 'She'd trampoline herself into her smaller exercise bra'...lol...
I tried it and it worked fantasticly well...I bought some cheap jobbies from Walmart...like 3 for $15...one size smaller...They are Fruit of the Loom...
I am now able to do Jumping Jacks and other jumping exercises, comfortably....Worth a try I think!

I wear a sports bra with a tight crop top or tank over it. Even though I've had the "girls" downsized, I still find most sports bras, whilst they do reduce the bounce, don't actually stop the bounce.0

Title 9 bras no question. I bought three bras from them (DD, Athena) three years ago and they are still in great shape. I can run and do 30 day shred very comfortably. I was unsure about the bra I wanted, so I chatted with a salesperson online and I was very happy with my order. It was worth every penny, check their sales section though, you might find something a little cheaper.0

I'd second those recommendations. I use the shock absorber (the band runs small, be forewarned), and the 7 Wonders for my workouts. I do running, high impact aerobics, and personal training with a lot of plyometric work in them, and those are my favorites.0

It's like wearing two (one to hold em up, one to hold em down) it has an underwire bra with a compression bra over top. I've seen sexier sports bras but they only are good for standing still looking cute.

I have Shock Absorber Bras and some Saucony ones. I'm only a C, but I actually lost half a cup due bad sports bras (too much movement while running hard) so I take no chances!0

Enell - hands down best sports bra ever...hard to get on at first..but you soon figure it out...
and for the first time EVER as an adult...I didn't have to wear two sports bras...
tip - if you do get one - hand wash and hang to dry and it will last FOREVER...and the hooks and eyes won't get banged up

I'm a 34D/DD. I have always just bought my bras a couple sizes small. I buy cheap sports bras from Target (or wherever) and get either a small or a 32 B/C. I try them on and jump around in the dressing room. If my boobs don't move, that's what I buy.
I've been meaning to check out some nicer sports bras in my size but this has always worked for me and I can't seem to justify the cost. Don't get me wrong, I'll buy expensive bras because they last years but I don't want to spend a small fortune on sports bras that wear out after maybe six months.0 -
