Made pizzas today, ate a whole one (not at once though my stomach has shrinked thank god!). Now just had lots of chocolate, just because its there and I am having not a great day, both kids poorly etc.
How do you find the energy to eat properly every single day? its so easy to "slip"
So I am way over my recommended amount of calories today, like 1200over! so bad!!! Yesterday I wasnt good either, I said to myself I would be good today but there you go...
At the beg I was very good, but I can tell how I am slipping a lot recently ...
Looking at success pictures helps though!

yes, that will help with motivation. You also may want to consider having a "cheat meal" once a week or two weeks. They can really help cravings that you get sometimes.0

Go for a run or other cardio workout to burn some off and feel better. Remember that even eating way over the allotment doesn't usually push most people into serious "gaining" territory, it will be closer to maintenance. Let it go and start again tomorrow!0

you know I dont even get cravings...strangely enough! I am just not careful about the amounts that I consume and I know it, I know exactly how much I should have eaten, I know this plate looks too big, yet I dont care and eat it. Ah I am disgusted my myself atm!!0 -
It's definitely not easy, between family, a full time job, finding time to exercise and eat properly is a chore.
I know for me it helps to have everything pre planned out. Sundays I will plan everything for the week, I even go as far as measuring out amount and putting them in their own separate little containers. Maybe give it a try. Hope that helps.

Thanks you are right, must let go, its very good way of thinking thank you!! I would go on cross trainer but I am still on antibiotics and dont sleep at night as my younger one is also poorly so dont want to push myself.0 -

hi, i do plan meals.like what I will cook during the week but this sounds a bit too hard for me, for now anyway oh have to go will be back soon younger one calling!!0 -
If you can make arrangements so the "bad food" ain't available to you, it will be easier. Another suggestion make a contract with yourself that if you eat the extra calories, you must exercise them off that same day. Dieting is mostly in your head, so if you can get your head straight, it becomes easier. You've got to want it. No one else can make you or shame you to do it.0

I found myself starving all day long yesterday. It's not normal for me - but I had 2 doctor's appointments (one was 5 minutes away and the other was 1.5 hrs round trip). I was so hungry by the time I got home, and was relieved that my hubby had chili in the crockpot ready to go! But that didn't stop me - I was still really hungry an hour or so later. So I had a small bowl of ice cream. I found myself at 10 pm thinking about finding another snack - but I just stuck it out.
Sometimes I think you have a "bad" or busy day and you might just need to give in to your body. I feel much better today and my eating is back on track and what I would expect. It's when you have a bad day every day (stress, busy, etc.), that you might need to take that into account.0 -

we dont normally have any bad food at home but I got my husband to buy some choc last night! as soon as I'm better Iwill hop on that trainer0
