I'm in need of some serious motivation

I started MFP in September of last year and along with running and various Jillian Michael's videos I managed to go from 185 to 156 pounds. However recently i haven't been able to stop myself. I keep getting back from work and binging and I can't stop. Did anyone else get stuck in this cycle? How can I get back on track?
I am now back at around 165 pounds, I was eating 1380 calories a day maximum and exercising 4 days a week. Should I try to increase my calories and work back down/
Any help would be appreciated

My question is why are you binging when you get home?
Are you not eating breakfast and/or lunch? I suspect the problem is not your caloric goal, but how you are distributing the calories throughout the day, If you are eating a decent breakfast and lunch, perhaps a mid-afternoon snack will help you beat those at-home binging cravings.
Another possibility is that you are medicating stress from work by binging. The answer there is to find a healthier way to manage stress.0 -
I find myself in this cycle occasionally. Usually due to stress from work or an inadequate afternoon snack. If I'm having an issue of bingeing, I try not to have any unhealthy items in the house until the cravings get under control. I can binge all I want on celery & carrots LOL...0

Just curious to know how much water you are drinking. Sometimes I find myself doing what you describe, and it's usually on days when I haven't met my water drinking goal.0

Hello: I find I seem to binge on Saturdays. My work is done for the week and I'm relaxing and food gives me comfort.
Food is also my companion at these times.
I'm a single 51 yr. old mom and food and T.V. has been a constant friend in the past.
And I've lost myself in the process.
I started this program 16 days ago because my Dr. reemed me out over my smoking-She told me to quit and get well or continue and get really ill. Plus she said I was FAT!! " Turn it around" she said
I have chosen a new path and I'm motivated to succeed with my goal of 40 lbs.
It's like I'm back in school learning all over again. It's an Attitude adjustment!
You have done so well-and now you are backsliding. Why? You know?
Believe in yourself!
Put your arms around yourself and give yourself a well needed hug!!
No one can dream our dreams for us! It's our responsibility to make them happen or watch them disappear!!
It's a hard reality-but so true!
Now roll your sleeves up and get back to your schedule!
Best Regards!

I wasn't really eating a decent breakfast and I didn't think at all about my water consumption. Thank you so much I'll let you know how I go!!
