Help Control My Mind

Last week I came down with the bird flu, yes the bird flu. And it sucked. My eye was swollen and my cold symptoms were misserable. But I am healthy now, well in that way at least. When I was sick I had completely lost my apatite, and lost quite a bit of weight. I thought I would just pick up from where I was and start eating five meals a day again, and feel great. But that's not the case. Since I got over my flu I have barely eaten. Everything I had recovered from feels like it's coming back. Heck I went through 6 packs of gum the past two days trying to keep my mind off food, and if I did allow myself to eat I would chew the gum to keep me from throwing up.

I feel like my battle has truly began again. If anyone can help me, I don't know what help there really is, I guess I am asking for support and motivation.

    We've all been here & most of us still are ha, myself included.

    Look, it's not easy now but it does get easier.

    For me it seems like in order for me to go crazy with food, I have to constantly think about what I'm going to eat and plan my day accordingly.

    I usually go to bed thinking about what I will eat for breakfast ha and eat breakfast thinking about what I'll eat for a snack later =P

    I don't have weird sugar cravings as much anymore and I think its because I avoid it. I avoid chocolate like the plague.. and it works for me, but may not work for you.
