Sauna- the appeal?

So, I personally don't use the sauna at either of my gyms, but know a lot of ladies who go in there with their workout clothes on after and just sit in there and chat and sweat. I do not get the appeal. Maybe if you are just in a towel, but with your clothes on after you are already sweating and I live in TX where it is hot enough!!??

Saunas are meant for naked people.

Then you're supposed to dip in very cold water and repeat. It's good for circulation and skin.

I've never heard of people going in a sauna fully clothed. That's weird

People go in the sauna fully clothed at my gym all the time. I thought it was weird, too.

I sauna at my gym.. I'll take a shower after I work out and put a deep conditioner in my hair then head over to the sauna for 10 - 15 mins (toweled) Then a cold shower to rinse.. and sometimes repeat.

There's one woman who comes in and stretches in the sauna before her workout. And a few that come in after their workout BEFORE showering and they are still wearing their work out clothes.. yeah.. I don't quite understand it..
