Xtra large

I have alot of weight to be lost over a hundred pounds and I see all of these girls lifting and I want to do it as well, but do I need to wait until I have lost more weight before I start? I do 4days of cardio and 2 days for small strength, but Im unsure where to start. I have heard so many things and Im just confused :( I wish getting healthy was as easy as gaining and not caring. Its getting really stressful :( I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks

Congrats on your loss! That's awesome :)

You don't need to wait to start lifting. Lifting now will help ensure that you get the end result you want.

  • Doty-I too have a lot to lose. I was doing really well last year and then a bunch of stuff happened in my life that took my focus off of me getting healthier. You can always lift...in fact that is something that should help the losing process...lifting helps to build muscle. As we have been told forever, lean muscle helps to burn fat. We can do this, it will just take time...putting it on didn't happen over night and taking it off won't either...just keep trying! You will achieve your goals!!
