Creatine Debate

Does anybody know anythng about creatine? I know it's controversial, i just don't know what all the debate is about and would seriously like to know more.

I worked at GNC for awhile, so I have a basic understanding.
Creatine causes your muscles to hold on to more water, which lets them repair faster so you can work them harder and more often. The water also makes the muscles bigger, which a lot of people like.
The problem with creatine is that your kidneys have trouble filtering it out of your body. Extended use over a long period of time can causes kidney problems, even kidney failure.
There are gel and liquid forms that are supposed to be easier on your kidneys, but they still can cause problems.0 -
