I saw this online somewhere and then tweaked it a bit to include more protein. No eggs, no oil.

My kids were begging me for another brownie. Of course I didn't tell them what was in there. They are so moist and I don't think anyone would think twice that they weren't "regular" brownies.

(1) 19.5 ounce box Pillsbury brownie mix (or whatever brand you want)
(1) can black beans (low sodium if possibe, I didn't have on hand so I used Goya regular)
(2) scoops chocolate protein powder (I use Giant Sports brand)

Drain and rinse the black beans, then put back into can and fill to the top with water. Put beans and water into food processor until smooth.

In large bowl, dump out your prepackaged brownie mix. Using your empty protein powder scoop, remove 2 scoops worth of the brownie mix and discard. Add in two scoops of the chocolate protein powder. Add bean & water puree. Stir to combine.

Put batter into 8 X 8 pan that has been sprayed with Pam and bake in preheated oven as described on brownie package.

I cut into 16 servings. This makes small, chunky brownies. You will want to eat two at first, but they really are rich so savor the one brownie :)
