Confused Help Please

Hi ive started dieting and exercising and at the moment i have lost 10 pound in 3 - 4 weeks not to bad

Ive started to use the MFP App and after exercising for 5 hours a week on the rower and eating less than 1500 calories daily for the last 2 weeks, i haven't lost any weight

Can some one help me out as im a bit of a newbie to all this, is it because im eating to less calories and my metabolism has slowed down to much

Im doing a hour rows 2 days on 1 day off.

Im 44 weighing 214lbs and 6ft tall and i have a Sedentary job

Now i have just joined here and done the Suggested Fitness and Nutrition Goals

NUTRITIONAL GOALS TARGET

Net Calories Consumed* / Day 1,370.0 Calories / Day
Carbs / Day 188 g
Fat / Day 46 g
Protein / Day 51 g
*Net calories consumed = total calories consumed - exercise calories burned. So the more you exercise, the more you can eat!

FITNESS GOALS TARGET

Calories Burned / Week 14,120.0 Calories / Week
Workouts / Weekends 5 workouts
Minutes / Workout 360 minutes

If you follow this plan...
Your projected weight loss is: 2.0 lbs/week
You should lose 10.0 lbs. by May 29

Surely thats not right 1,370.0 Calories / Day im burning 800-900 calories a workout??????

Ive been told i need to eat 2500 calories daily with my exercise regime on another forum

God im confused didnt know it was this hard to lose weight lol

I love the app but this has really thrown me

Any help would be great

Thxs

you're eating too little. make sure you're eating back your exercise calories. check your BMR and make sure you're netting that number minimum each day.

You are probably eating too little. MFP is extremely low with their calorie goals. Mine was 1200 for a while, and my brother (who is a trainer) said that's way too low & I'm probably starving myself. I upped my calorie intake & am already feeling much better. You may want to consult with a trainer or doctor to confirm how many calories you should be taking in each day.
