Is there some kind of protein powder that helps boost metabolism? Should I be drinking a protein powder? What else can I do to boost metabolism? Thanks in advance.

Lift weights. Don't skip meals, eat every 3-4 hrs. Increase your protein intake, powders are fine or you can eat foods high in protein, meat, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, nuts, etc. Eat your exercise calories back. Eat real food and avoid processed junk. B complex vitamins can give you an energy boost as will coffee, but it won't really increase your metabolism.0

Don't listen to this post. Meal timing and number of meals is irrelevant.

Your diary is closed, so I can't see your calorie intake. Make sure you are eating enough. Eat and lift heavy. That's about it. What ^^^ this says. There is no way to "boost" your metabolism by ingesting a specific food or at a specific time. Eat an appropriate amount and variety of more-healthy-than-not foods you enjoy, timed for the way YOUR life goes and do an honest amount of varied-effort physical work for fitness.0 -

i'm hypothyroid so as well as my meds I look to natural thyroid and metabolic support. Kelp and coconut oil are both amazing. So give them a go, maybe?
I also know that zinc can help thyroid,but I haven't tried it.0 -
Start adding cinnamon and/or chili pepper to your foods... they aid metabolism over time.0
