Hi all, I've been working to get back into shape for the last several weeks and would love to have a buddy so we can keep each other accountable and log our progress. I want to hit the gym at least 5 days a week for no shorter than 45 minutes a day. I'm working on the rowing machine (my son is on the crew team so I've gotten some tips from him), treadmill and weights. We can share each other's workout, progress and tips... Any takers?? Sincerely, Julie

Hi, I'd love someone to talk to and share tips and progress with. I've been on here for about a month now, going to the gym about 3 times a week at the moment, usually for classes or weights, trying to incorporate more cardio as well to improve my fitness. My main problem is cutting down on the food I think.

    Great ladies...
I'm headed to the gym shortly and plan on at least 45 minutes on the rowing machine and treadmill.
    Rowing: 2000 meters
    Treadmill: 1.5 miles
    Weights: legs

    Good luck with your workouts.

Hey in case you haven't done so already, make each other friends so that we will get our fitness posts.
Good luck this week with working out! I'm about to head to the gym.
BTW, have any of you tried p90x? I have it and tried it once, but haven't gone back to it.
    Any thoughts?

Hi, is it all right if I join you ladies here?

I just started that C25K thingy today (haven't run since school cross country) would be great to keep my self accountable and would make me more likely not to skip a run.

Other than that I swim three times a week and I go to the the gym three times a week, really trying to increase my fitness levels at the moment!

jliz513: might I just say I am really impressed at 2000m on the rowing machine, wish I could do that much!

Feel free to send me a friend request. I have a few friends on MFP, and knowing they see how long I've worked out keeps me going! I quit the gym more than a year ago. I'm also doing C25K (finishing week 2 tomorrow), and I cycle a couple times a week. I get on my elliptical when the weather keeps me indoors. And I just started 30-day shred, though I'm not doing it everyday.

Oh, I would love fitness buddies;) I have a gym membership at our local "Y" and have been putting it to good use over the summer. My weekly goal is to exercise 8-10 hours a week. I love the treadmill - gearing up to walk a 1/2 marathon in Disney this october. And I finally got the courage up to do the classes offered there as well. My fav is Zumba. I started taking Step and this week I am going to try Cardio Kickboxing.
Looking forward for others to help me keep the motivation going!!!!

    Well ladies,
Today I did my running thingy (in the RAIN!) and am going to go to the gym in an hour.

What are all your exercise plans for the day?

@lu123 - I already got my workout in this morning. I went for a 20 mile bike ride with my husband. I'm trying out a new bike seat, and it worked out pretty well. Tomorrow we are planning on a 30 mile ride, so I took it a bit easy today, and tried not to wear myself out on the hills!
