Hi I'm Jan, I'm 49 & live in Shropshire, it's Day 1 today of my new calorie counting regime and I'm so fired up and raring to go! Just hope that lasts!!
I've been playing about with Low-Carbing for the last couple of years, as I really enjoy eating that way but I only seem to be able to do it in fits and starts and I just keep gaining and losing the same weight.
Last Autumn I got totally fed up with it all and did Slim and Save, which is a Very Low Calorie meal replacement diet and lost just over 2 stone, but one of those has now gone back on and I'm once again not getting anywhere with my low-carbing and cannot face doing meal replacements again. I was going to join Weight Watchers online as I'm not really a group meeting kinda gal, but thought counting cals would ultimately be easier as there's no working out of points and you can see at a glance on most packaged foods how many cals are in it and so as I've used MFP in the past thought I'd use this for my new regime!
So here I am, saying hello would love any like-minded peeps to join me as friends as I'm sure I'm going to need the support and encouragement along the way
Jan xx

Hi, I'm 10 days in to my journey on MFP and it's going well so far.
If you want to add me I'll look forward to noseying through your diary and getting meal ideas and hopefully you'll get ideas from me too, also being generally supportive to each other.
Please don't be a stranger, feel free to message and comment any time x0 -
