From Fat to Fit ...going for Fabulous

Hi All,
It has been some time before I posted anything.Work and making lifestyle changes takes a toll on reality....Losing weight healthy way is not easy and never has been for anybody...I am not taking about fad diets...There are so many products , machines and magic pills that make you feel that losing is so easy, you just need to pay for those, your hard earned money...Some lose weight from those and gain back...some lose their motivation...I had tried everything to lose weight before, invested on fad diets also enrolling myself at slimming points, gyms...Could lose up to 10 pounds...it worked but I did not went for a lifestyle change...used to binge on weekends...become bloated and finally would again gain all the weight back...My thyroid was also suffering..I was not fit! Couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without taking rest..I was obese at 5 ' 0''.I was 167.2 pounds...I don't know how I changed my mind...I always had to wear over sized clothes and was never happy with myself..I was depressed and I ate more...
Life changes and it changes for everybody who want to make a change...It just happens...motivation comes either with someones support or with strong will power...I am lucky I have both..Also finding MFP was a big thing! All the friends on MFP are real support..After working hard for 3 and a half month I have lost 31 pounds...I can now wear Small Size clothes..before I used to wear XL...I feel proud and confident..try new colors...I am happy I made this decision and there is no going back...I have 9 more pounds to lose for seeing my wonderland..but I am happy in my own skin...I still feel like binging...but then I go for a run or drink some tea...or even go for smaller portions...I want to enjoy my life...
Before I could not run for a minute..now I run for 40 mins or longer, I have done several 5k's and now even do 7k...I feel proud... I can do 20 full pushups and I am now focusing on losing fat and building muscles...I still have jiggly arms with some muscles..but I am happy...they will go away eventually.....people should not focus on weight loss...I think everyone should focus on fitness and fat loss...weight loss is a by product....Everyone should become strong...but they have to start somewhere..I will definitely post pictures...but once I lose those 9 pounds...they are my motivation..
