Hungry feeling when not really hungry

Sometimes.. well a lot of the time after i've eaten and i KNOW im full i start getting phantom hungry feelings... does anyone else get this and does anyone know why it happens and how to stop it?

If your meal was heavy on carbs and lite on protein and fat, it might trigger something like this.0

Try drinking more water, apparently you can confuse the hunger and thirst signals.

Do you get the hungry feelings on a day of heavy exercise? I have issues of phantom hunger pains for up to 2 days after a heavy workout day. After that it goes away. If not, at least stick to proteins to curb that feeling. Nuts and greek yogurt are great for that!0

i felt that feeling just the other day. i was at a restaurant and ordered a chicken salad but they put so much chicken on top i took half off (even though i could eat it all if i wanted to). after i ate my salad and i saw the chicken on the side i wanted to go dig into that too. and i felt so hungry like i wasnt full at all. then i took out a piece of gum and chewed that. it helped. i wasnt hungry. i just felt like chewing.0
