TDEE - 20%. 1869 calories per day. Don't eat back your exercise calories. HTH!0 -

Well it appears you calculated your TDEE based on being totally sedentary. Most people are not totally sedentary. If you do some form of exercise, since you didn't calculate it into your TDEE, eat back some of your exercise calories.0

it also appears that you did not use the calculator that factors in body fat percentage...if you did, your BMR is likely lower than that.
Also, you should use the correct activity modifier -0 -
how did you come up with yoru calculations? it's better if you write it out so we can see if you have any errors...0

go with about 1800-1900. this method account for accurete food logging though. A food scale is reccomended.0

Pretty sure she just used http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ because I got the exact numbers as her using a sedentary setting.
I used that website to come up with my own numbers and it's worked pretty well so far.0 -

So we have a winner for worst advice of the day.
Don't eat below your BMR. It's how much you need to keep your body alive and functioning well. Yeah yeah, people do it all the time and then come back and complain about being sick, tired, and not losing weight. To be safe, I'd say not to go below 1950.
Your TDEE by definition needs to include your exercise calories (TOTAL daily energy expenditure), so "eating them back" is a false dichotomy. Either you are fueling your body enough for the activities in which you are involved or you are not.
Your TDEE is pretty close to your BMR. More exercise would give you more room to work with. Even so, eating at 1950 would give you a roughly 400 calorie deficit per day which is a little less than a pound a week, which is not a bad thing.0 -
All of you plain blue people ae scaring me. You are all blue aliens and you are coming to take my butterfinger. (shivers in a corner affraid of all blue people.)0

Ow wow.....that's what i get for trusting someone eles numbers. Cyclink is correct. Do not eat below your BMR. If i were in your shoes i would shoot for about 2100-2300 a day aprox.0 -

For someone looking to lose 100+ lbs eating below the BMR will not be an issue for until they have much less to lose. I would suggest BMR-20%, but to ensure you are getting adequate protein and do some form of strength training. The more you have to lose the larger your deficit can be without sacrificing a large % of lean mass, though protein and strength training will reduce the amount lost even more.0 -

Ouch. Thanks for saying that was the worst advice of the day when I am fairly certain that there are other posters that are deliberately posting bad advice, where as I (unfortunately) did not look closely at her BMR, I was just using her TDEE. I guess that is what I get for trying to help.
However, I just think that at her size, she can afford to eat just a little less than her BMR. Especially considering the effects of high levels of body fat, which reduces your BMR. Minus 20% is barely less than her calculated BMR and I really doubt that it would cause her to go into starvation mode.
Also, I mentioned the thing about exercise because other new posters generally have the question about whether or not to eat back exercise calories.0 -

If her TDEE is 2336, then eating 2300 a day will not help her lose weight if she is not exercising. Those would be her maintenance calories.0 -

her TDEE is closer to 2600. She had it calculated as sedetery. I gave her numbers for a more acurete activity level.0 -
