Polar HRM? Other HRM???

I really want to buy a HRM and have been looking at some Polar models...but I just can't make myself buy one after reading all the terrible Amazon reviews. Every single HRM that I look at has a ton of bad reviews. Has anyone actually had any luck with their HRM?...for more than 6 months?

Also, there is a lot of cool new technology in the works that I might just wait out for. Like the new PerformTek.

Any suggestions?

i love my polar ft4. comfortable, lightweight and easy to use. have had it since october and never work out without it. compared a lot of model and found that while this one didn't offer as much as some of the other ones, it had exactly what i was looking for.

    good luck!

I have a Wazoo that interfaces directly with my iPhone (no watch needed). I have had it since September and have not had any problems. At this point, I can't imagine working out without one. It is a very valuable tool in my weight loss arsenal!

love my poolar Ft 4, mine is silver/black women's model, and I wear it all the time like my regular watch (but only put the heart rate band on when i exercise. I also have a garmin for biking and triathlon stuff and it works fine too, but is too complicated!

Hi! I have the Polar FT 4 and I love it. I read reviews on it too but many of my fitness pals swear by it. You wouldn't be disappointed.

FT7 here. Awesome tool. Reads cals burnt, HR, and also stores your past workouts for up to 99 times.

The chest strap is nice and stretchy just remember to adjust it to make it smaller if you need too otherwise the readings go a bit crazy.
