What would you advise a friend to do in this situation?

A friend is in a dilemma- and asked me for advice...
but I'd like your input as well..

She has an upcoming birthday...and someone spilled the beans about a surprise party
being planned.

She is REALLY freakin' out over it- and here's why....

The family members are not only inviting friends and family,
they are also including those she works with- several co-workers AND bosses.

She has one family member who has NO filter for her mouth.
Let me give you an example:
At a grandmother's funeral, she introduced her sister to someone-
whom right in front of him, this chick blurted out: " Wow, he's really fat! "
She was mortified.
The man stormed off.
She chastised her sister, who didn't see the problem...and refused to apologize
to the man.

While the rest of the family is used to her obnoxious behavior,
........having co-workers- BOSSES- come face to face with her is not something she's overly excited about.

Don't envy her dilemma, but I really don't know what's the right thing to do.......

What would you do?

You can't choose or control your family, if her coworkers ect. don't already understand this, then tell her to warn them first thing after she arrives.

Buy the annoying family member a cage and ball gag for the corner. With a cage, she can still see what's happening at the party so she won't feel left out at all.
