my color in my wardrobe

I just noticed today that my closet and dressers have a lot more color in them these days. I use to have all black or brown clothes with a little bit of white mixed in there. Since losing weight I have been buying smaller clothes and just noticed that I have been buying clothes that are pink, blue, purple, ect. It's nice to see all these colors in my wardrobe. I think it reflects a change in my attitude. I am a sunnier person than I was.

Has anyone else seen changes like this or am I weird? (normal is over-rated so don't worry about calling me weird, I can handle it! lol)

I TOTALLY GET THIS!!!! I have bought colors and styles I haven't worn literally in decades (colors NOT styles.... some things are better left in the PAST).... I thought it was just me, but even my husband noticed. :blushing: those couple of things have done a lot for me to keep going, this week has been rough.

The only thing I have replaced so far is my blue jeans. I'm waiting until the end of summer to buy more shirts. i figure I'll be where I'm supposed to be then.
  • Jewel tones have always worked for my skin tone, thus color has always been present, no matter my weight. I'm like a fat rainbow walking down the street.

Pretty much every piece of clothing I've purchased in the last two months has been brightly colored. Even my new running shoes are bright red/orange. Prior to that, I mostly wore dark colors (primarily black).

Though it's good that I haven't spent too much on new clothing, since I'm already dangerously close to needing to drop down another size.

I don't understand the allure of neon colored tennis shoes/sneakers/trainers. It's quite baffling to me.
