For all the Couch to 5k'ers or people thinking about it...

I've never been able to run for more than a minute or so without huffing, puffing, then quitting. I just finished week 6 of this program.... and I finished the last run (25 min, no walking breaks) without any difficulty at all. There is a mental barrier in this program at some point for everyone, I broke through mine last week. That's really all that's stopping you, your body CAN do this. So for anyone struggling with it or are thinking about not starting it because you don't think you can do it..... DO IT! It really does work and I'm feeling great about myself. If I can do it, anyone can.

Thank you for posting this, I started this week, and can at the moment only manage a minute at a time, but I am determined to keep on this! I am now finding myself running in short bursts at every available opportunity, on my way back from school run (no pun intended) even just going to the corner store for milk!
It's a fantastic program and I'm very glad to have taken it up, thanks for the motivation to all of us newbies at running, and well done on your success! Keep on runnin!0 -
Good for you. Definitely stick with it, it's very rewarding as you progress.0
