Is anyone participating in Les Mills classes at your local gym? I'm really enjoying it. Just wondering what you're using for your calorie burn. I've got varying results from online queries, and the instructor didn't really seem to know (odd).

I am doing Combat at home and use a heart rate monitor to track mine. Every person is different, so really that is the best way.0

I made a guesstimate of 400 calories. Some sites stated 600-800 calories and I think that is way too high. Just my opinion, though. I think all 'calorie burn' is a guesstimate unless one has a heart rate monitor. I guess I'll have to break down and purchase one.0

I found a post from a participant who wore a counter and he only reached 250, which surprised me. I'm sure my heart rate is elevated the entire time.0
