Daily Intake Today

Hi just wonder if anyone could check my daily food intake today and see if its about right as i wasn't losing weight because i wasnt eating enough calories and was told to up my calories which i have done today but it seems like a lot of food and ive been really bloated

Im 44 weigh 214lbs and 6ft tall and i work out a hour a a day and burn between 700-900 per work out

I did a reading on http://scoobysworkshop.com/ and got this

Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) 2014

Daily calories to maintain weight (TDEE) 3474

Daily calories based on goal in step 6 2606

Does that sound about right?

Thxs

You're 114 lbs at 6ft tall? And you still want to loose weight?

According to your tracker, you still want to lose another 18 pounds? You'll weight at 96 lbs? That's really skinny.. i'm not sure if that's healthy for a men?..

Edited ; whew that makes a lot more sense now. lol

if you increased that much in one day you def will be bloated and overfull. should have eased up. perhaps drop it 200 tomorrow and leave it there for a couple days then re-raise

i don't know whats right for you. But I'm female, 90kg (just under 200 lb) and 175cm tall, and I have BMR 1690 and eat 1800.

You're a big guy. Follow scooby's workshop. I'm 5'2" 120lbs 34 moderate activity and my tdee is 2020. I would never eat at just the BMR. At least not knowing thats what I'd need if I was in a coma. You need to eat for your activity level.

ETA: Eat the 2606 with confidence! Weigh yourself regularly and you'll see progress.

if you feel like the physical amount that you are eating is too much for you, either too much for your belly, or for you mind, then go with some really calorically dense foods. for example, nuts and avocado, both of which have really healthy, good for you fats, pack a lot of calories into a small package.

also I agree with the above poster who suggested upping the calories more slowly, instead of all at once. be prepared for a stall or even slight gain as you get up to where you need to be, but that's normal and should even out once you are eating at your new goal for a couple of weeks.
