CanNOT stick to ANYTHING during exams

I'm just NOT going to lose until my exams end on May 7. All I want is to buy takeout (not fastfood, but even things like Chop't and Sweetgreen can add up) drink wine while I outline (almost a whole bottle tonight!) whimper and cry about how much I STILL do not know tax law and curl up and eat take out with my boyfriend. Oh, and not work out nearly as much as I normally do because any second I'm not studying feels wasted....
Is it so horrible to just let myself NOT worry about weight loss until exams are over? And kick it back into high gear then? Right now I just feel like I need sweets and junk food and take out and yes even alcohol to survive all this crap.
I'm not currently overweight, have never been more than ten lbs overweight, but I still have 19 to lose and hate to undo all my progress....but right now thinking about how not on track I am being is one added extra stress I just DO NOT NEED.
ALSO TAX LAW IS THE WORST!!!!
I'm not even sure what I'm asking...I just need some sort of motivation or support or advice....

prioritise. at the moment, your exams are more important but you're also stressing out your mind and body so if you can fit in a light workout, do. walk, swim, shag your boy anything, really. Eat well-ish but put a daye on it. like 'this continues until 3 days after my last exam then i'm on a strict plan until i feel like me again.
be kind to yourself. you can't keep all the balls in the air at once x0 -
I was in a similar situation to you last week... I know exactly what you mean. I stopped exercising for two weeks because I just felt guilty for wasting study time whenever I did. I figured that my degree is more important than losing weight.
I kept logging, but ate at maintenance (which came naturally without planning cals ahead) for two weeks and no exercise to concentrate on my exams/essays. Weighed myself after and I surprisingly lost two pounds!0 -
I am in the same place! i have been up for over 24 hours now studying both International Law and Terrorism and Military Law. Exams are killing me. I am eating junk food and crazy schedule and not working out like I used too. I just don't have time. Honestly, school is most important. I think it is fine to put it off until exams are over. At least that is my plan! Good Luck and know that there are others whose lives are sucking just as badly with exams, you are not alone! We can do this!! Stay positive!!0

I'm there too! Final year, coursework all due in on May 17th...have pretty much accepted that life is going to be hell until then! Spent the whole week working on my dissertation, only to come almost to the end and realise it just isn't working out how I thought it was going to...back to the drawing board
As someone else said, the degree is by far the most important thing for the next few weeks. I have a lifetime to focus on my fitness goals. I only have three more weeks (yikes) to get my degree.
Anyone feel free to add me, we can try to support each other through the ordeal!0 -
I realised this was true for me too, so I've set my calories to maintenance until my exams, so at least I won't gain any weight. I can start again in a few weeks, no biggie.0
