I know it varies depending on whether you have more weight on your hips or boobs, or what our BF% is, but trying to estimate what weight/measurements would get me into a smaller size clothes
I'm 5 '7.5 (171cm), and currently 180lb and in size 14(UK). When I started was 190lb and was 14-16.

I'm 5'7, and 183lbs. I wear (UK) size 14 on the bottom and 10/12 on the top, depending on space for my chest.. My measurements are 38-28-43.5 so a bit off balance.0

I'm 5'7 and normally a 8/10 on top due to small chest and mainly a 10 on bottom (pushing 12 hence being on here) not sure of my measurements but last time I checked 34-27.5-36 body fat 21% I am about 146lbs right now. Prob worth mentioning I do a lot of sport 135lb for me makes a 10 pretty roomy, hope rhat helps but everyone is so different & therefore some else with same height/weight could be different0

I'm 5'7 and 151 lbs. My measurements are 33-30-39 and I just fit into a Canadian size 10/11 on the bottom and a size 6/8 on top. I'm pretty pear shaped so I can get away with a smaller dress size but I really should be in a size 12 on the bottom I think. I refused to buy a larger size so I'm really squeezed into the one pair of jeans I have that still fit. (Thank you whoever invested jeans with elastic comfort waists!)0

I'm 5'7" and 159.2 pounds. I wear an 8 or 10 (US) depending on cut, or a woman's medium. Measurements are 37-29-39. I was 200 a little over two years ago, and wore a US 16 or 18.0

5'7" Started at 203lb on MFP (after losing 10 lb). Currently 139. Wearing Med or 8/10 tops. Small or size 4 to 6 slacks - tall US sizes0

Hi I'm 5'7 and about 205 right now  ...measurements? Approximately 40-34-49 :ohwell: . Needless to say...I have a long way to go!0

I'm 5'7" and weigh 152 pds - I wear a size 8 or 10 depending on the cut. Used to be a 6 or 8 until I hit menopause. I'm working on losing 10 pds and hope to get back to a 8 slim or 6 full.0

OH..forgot to add...clothes size. Size 12 on top and 14-16 bottom0

I am 5'7 and pear shaped. I also have a large butt in proportion to the rest regardless of what weight I am.
These are U.S. sizes (sorry I don't have tape measurements):
180 lbs - Size 14 pants (verging on 16) , size 12 top (and that's getting tight)
170 lbs - Size 14 pants, size 10/12 top
160 lbs - Size 12 pants, size 10 top
150 lbs - Size 10 pants, size 8 top
140 lbs - Size 8 pants, size 6 top
130 lbs - Size 6 pants, size 4 top
120 lbs - Size 4 pants, size ?? top (can't even remember)
So as you can see, my sizes stay consistent with dropping about 1 size per 10 lbs, which I read is typical. I've also read though that once you get in the high sizes (like 20), that most people drop/gain a size will be more like 20 lbs (correct me if I'm wrong), but I've never weight heavier than 185 lbs. My top is always smaller than my lower half.0 -
I'm in Canada so my sizes are based on that but I do see some differences if I am shopping in the US (am generally a size smaller...but no, they haven't changed sizes for vanity at all! HaHa!).
I am 5'8" and currently 137 lbs. I have a teeny-tiny top (read, small boobies and small waist, etc) but am wider on the bottom (with slightly "thicker" thighs). My tops are XS or S (size 2 or 4); pants/jeans are a 6 (sometimes a 4 if bought in the US!); skirts are anywhere from 4-6; dresses are usually a 4, but can be as low as 0, 2, or even a 6 depending on cut. A-line cuts are the best for me.
Current measurements are: 31 bust, 26 waist (at narrowest), 38 hips
So, clearly on the pear-side!0 -
Thank you! I must check how does the UK sizes compare to USA and Canadian. I'm trying to organise and input all my measurements so far in MFP, they are all over the place in different pieces of paper and in centimetres.0

5'7 and weigh 150lbs, started at about 185 lbs
size (UK) 12 on bottom, but some places it's a loose 12 (M&S!) 30 inch waist
on top who knows! I'm VERY large busted but i'm 33.4- 34 in chest.0 -
I'm 5'7" and currently weigh 161 lbs (after starting at 182 in January). I wear a women's medium on top and a 10/12 on the bottom depending on brand, cut, etc. For better or for worse, genetics have endowed me with big ol' thighs, which makes pants shopping just the most fun thing EVER.0

I'm 5'7 and am fluctuating between 230-235 lbs. My pants range from a size 14 to a size 20 depending on the brand. Liz Claiborne & Jennifer Lopez are size 14 - and lees range from 16-20 depending on what style. My tops are generally a L (12/14) or XL (16/18) with an occasional size 20, again depending on the cut.0

5'7" 154lbs 34-30-37 Shirts are a size M and jeans are anywhere from a 6-10(US sizes) depending on brand/cut. I've noticed higher end brands use less vanity sizing than cheaper brands.0

5'8" 165 pounds 36-29-37 and wear an 8 and mostly mediums although I still wear a lot of large and xls as tunics since buying all new clothes is expensive. A year ago I was a size 26.0

I am 5"8 and started at 185. I was a size 12. I am now, 168 and a size 10. I also have a small frame.

I am 5"8 and 140 lbs, 36-26-36

I'm 5'7" & weigh 145. I was down to 138, but stopped counting calories & am back up a little to 145.
I'm in a size 6 comfortably & some 4's depending on the brand. I have a larger chest so i need size med to large tops.0 -
Thank you ladies, it's good to see what my goal will look like :-) I'm still at 177lb (started 190) so good few pounds and inches to go down, can't wait to get into the next size down! Patience is not my strongest quality0

5'7 on the dot,
106lbs
31-24-35.5, 19.5" thighs
I'm an xs for everything basically, i can do s's and xxs's depending on the store, size 2US (but i have hollister pants that are size 1 and forever 21 size 2 pants that are huuge on me) which is a size 6 australian. I can wear the kids section pants/skirts that are a size (australian) 14-16 i don't really wear tight tops so i don't have a problem fitting into any of them (i always buy oversized) think i'm probably a size 6 there too. It's difficult to find clothes that fit my waist and hips at the same time, especially skirts, my dress size is (australian) 6but i can squeeze a size 4 and wear a size 8 without it looking too big in some brands0 -
I'm 5'8", 137 lbs, my current measurements are 38-29-37, and I'm in a size 8-ish. Clothes sizes are all over the map though, I buy 6s sometimes and 10s other times. I try not to get hung up on the number, I just buy the one that fits. I was wearing 12s when I started, at 152.5 lbs.0

This is an ancient thread, but I'm here, so: 5'7", 130 pounds, size small or medium in tops and 6 or 8 in pants, depending on the brand. I seem to have a huge clothing size compared to other people my weight, and compared to plenty of people who weigh a lot more than me, but I don't look it. I guess we all "wear" our weight differently...:flowerforyou:0
