Eating cleaner, getting meaner

So yesterday I started eating cleaner, lots of fruits and vegetables, hard boiled eggs, and lots of water. I was eating every 2-3 hours, and I felt content. However I was acting really mean! Had ZERO energy, yelling at my fiance over stupid things ("WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T GET THE MAIL?!"), just acting like a total B. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like this is the exact opposite of what should be happening, but maybe my body just went into shock from not having "bad" food. Please tell met his is a phase!

Did you drop your calories?
When I don't eat *enough*, I'm not pleasant. It's called being hangry (hungry + angry).0 -
It was only one day. Likely something else was causing your grumpy mood.
Change is hard, but give it time before deciding it's not working. "Eating clean" doesn't mean depriving yourself; you are treating yourself to good quallity food and giving yourself what you deserve.0 -
the cleaner i eat the better i feel and happier i am ... make sure you get protein, complex carbs, fruits, and vegetables. Your mood can also be from something else0
