Anybody know about macros? im 20, 136 pounds with 33% percent bodyfat and im 5 ft 9 .. MFP put me to 1320 calories which isnt very much and i was usually still a bit hungry.. I found this macros calculator and two of them said i should be eating 1415 calories and with the Zone diet thats 40% carbs 30% protein and 30% fat.. but thats like 106grams of protein.. is this way too high??.. i Love protein but i probably wouldnt eat that much.. would appreciate anyone who is good at this stuff to give me advice on how much protein fat and carbs i should be eating... thanks

I aim for 40/30/30, but im not perfect atit, nor do I worry too much about it. 106 is not unusual for me. I Fnd MFP's protein recs to be low. A good rule to follow is to get 1 gram of protein per pound of LBM.0

The 1415 sounds a good number of calories I think. If your still hungry increase a little. I'd rather this take slightly longer than be constantly hungry! The zone diet are great macros and very doable. I've actually dropped to 30% carbs and 35% prptein and fat, which is working even better for me. Try the zone macros and see how you go. 106g of protein is not too much at all. I have 120-140 most days. Keeps you full! Which is always good!

LBM...Lean Body Mass. Pretty hard to know exactly what it is without tests. You should be fine off the zone macros. Take a peek at my diary if you like... It's open.

Lean body mass is anything that's not fat. If your 33% body fat percentage is accurate then your LBM is (100-33)*136=91.0
