My hubbie Ed went to Lane Bryant today to get the 3 tank tops and the blouse in my size that weren't in stock last week. I was so shocked to see how that blouse was packed.

My first thought was, "Is that my blouse?! It is tied up in a granny knot!!!"

This granny knot is my blouse? Really? You have got to be kidding.

Yep. It's a blouse. I had to untie it and untwist it, but it is a blouse...a very wrinkled blouse. Apparently, that is the newest style...wrinkles.

The blouse was tied up with this scrap of fabric. I won't be keeping this scrap. I also don't think that I will be knotting up my blouse again...no matter what is considered stylish.

I happen to be of the old school, permanent press, wash and wear crowd. Wrinkles were not in style for my generation.

I even remember having to iron all my clothes not so many years ago.

Well, here is what my newest blouse looks like on the hanger. I hope that it will look better on me. :)

I have a couple of blouses like that. I wear them over a tight-fitting cami, and the wrinkles actually give the blouse an interesting look. I wouldn't recommend wearing it with anything loose-fitting or wrinkled, as then it might look like you're just wrinkly! But that is a very cute blouse.

Then, that leaves me out. At 68 years old, I am already wrinkled.

A few years ago I had a skirt that was creased, deliberately, it was meant to be creased! My landlady spent hours trying to iron the creases out!! I could have cried when I saw it! It should have been creased!! Lol!

It's like holes in jeans. Not my style. I was always taught to throw holey jeans in the rag bin, not wear them out in public. The wrinkly blouse thing is a new one. It is pretty though.

First where in the world do you live? to have a landlady do your laundry-sweet! Second, same thing happened to me, except my husband did the laundry, I was upset at first but then realized it looked fine too without the wrinkles.

I have a couple of blouses that are permanently crinckled, or scrunched, that actually look good that way. I think it depends on the style and cut of them.
