I'm no expert but I'm telling you any surgery scares me.

Not sure if it's true or not...but I will say, I have read a lot of good things about shapewear being used to kind of take a few inches off if worn for a long amount of time. I wore some after having my baby, every day and night for about 2 months and I think it made a big difference on getting my stomach back. I would look into it before surgery
less painful!

Most of that depends on your age the older you are the more likely it is that when you loose significant amounts of weight you will have loose skin.0

Some if depends on the circumstances. For myself personally, after having 5 kids (including 2 sets of twins) in 4 years, my stomach will never be the same, regardless of the weight I lose. The muscles have been stretched and pulled and cut apart and for me to get the flat tummy I used to have it'll take a tummy tuck. That's my reward to myself if I get to my goal weight of 140 and can maintain there for 1 year.0

Are there any exercises for "loose skin"?? Imma cardio and weight train myself like crazy. and will my muscles form and get nice and tight under the loose skin or will the loose skin go away too eventually?0

Yes, if your skin has lost some of the elasticity (sp) there isn't any amount of weights you can do to make it retract... However, the slower you lose the less loose it will look... just my .02 :flowerforyou:
I believe it all depends on age, amount of weight and the length of time it took to lose it.Them 20 y/o come back like nothing ever happened

really it depends on the amount, and length of time the skin was stretched, also on genetics, and on diet to a degree, but generally speaking, the older we get, the less chance our skin has of "snapping back". If you have a lot of lose skin, especially around the belly area, odds are it'll never be as firm as before a large weight gain then loss. Surgery is an option, although it does have some serious risks involved (besides the pain of recovery time).
this isn't always the case, but it is for the majority.0
