Hi, Do you have any information regarding the diet that requires you to eat no more than 500 calories (Women) 600 calories (Men). I'm trying this diet at the moment with good results, but there doesn't seem much information on the web Thank you very much Petethecoach

I don't know much about the 5/2 diet but I think the important thing is that you're still eating sensibly and healthily for the majority of the week. Many people fast on a regular basis and don't seem to have any serious health issues arise from it.

Pete is fasting for 2 days a week on 600 calories - the rest of the week he is eating normally/sensibly.
I know you are trying to help but, please don't give advice until you understand what it is the OP is asking for advice about.....

By the way, I tried the 18:6 diet for a while. I liked it and actually lost about 15 pounds in a short time doing it and it was way more sustainable. Search the internet for it...lots of information out there. Hope this is helpful.0
